Arroz Con Pollo(Cuban Chicken With Rice) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stewing chicken or equivalent chicken parts (3 to 5 lb.)
2 medium small onions
1 bell pepper
1 Tbsp. adobo
1 to 2 Tbsp. garlic
2 c. rice
2 packets Sazon (Goya or Accent brand)
8 oz. green olives, drained
Preparation

Precook the chicken with the cut up bell pepper and onions. Add the adobo and garlic. Cook the above in a pot until tender, or microwave for about 1 hour at half speed.
Be sure to stir frequently. Cook the rice with the Sazon and olives until almost done.
Add the chicken and cook 1/2 hour over slow heat, or microwave for about 15 to 20 minutes on full speed.
