Corn Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. milk
    2 c. flour, sifted
    3 Tbsp. baking powder
    dash of pepper
    2 c. corn
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Add milk to corn.
    Sift flour; measure.
    Add baking powder, salt and pepper.
    Combine with milk mixture.
    Add melted butter. Add eggs, one at a time.
    Beat thoroughly until well blended. Drop by spoonfuls in deep fat.
    Fry to a golden brown; drain hot.
