German Rouladen - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 finely grated carrots
    1 large chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    6 strips bacon (uncooked), chopped small
    salt and pepper as desired
    12 thin slices beef
    shortening or oil
    1 can beef consomme
    1/2 c. dry red wine
    2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Combine carrots, onion, parsley, bacon, salt and pepper. Spread on beef slices.
    Roll each slice up and secure with toothpick.
