Heath Bar Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
    5 egg whites
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
    6 Heath bars
    1 qt. container Cool Whip
Preparation
    Blend together first 3 ingredients and pat into 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Beat egg whites and cream of tartar; add sugar.
    Beat until thick and creamy.
    Spread on graham cracker crust.
    Bake for 1 hour at 250\u00b0.
    Cool at room temperature.
    Crush Heath bars. Reserve 1/4 cup of crumbs.
    Blend the Heath bars with 1 quart container of Cool Whip.
    Spread onto cooled torte.
    Sprinkle reserved crumbs on top.
    Refrigerate until serving time.
