Pecan Refrigerator Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. plain flour
    1 stick oleo
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    dash of salt
    1 c. pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the sugar and oleo. Add egg, then flour and chopped nuts. Dough will be rather stiff. Roll out
    on wax paper to form a roll. Chill in refrigerator until firm.
    (May be left overnight.) Slice about 1/3-inch thick.
    Lay on greased cookie sheet pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
