Refrigerator White Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. active dry yeast
1/4 c. warm water
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. shortening
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 egg

Preparation

Soften yeast in warm water.
Combine milk, shortening, sugar and salt.
Heat to melt shortening.
Cool to lukewarm.
Add 1 cup of flour; beat well.
Beat in yeast mixture and egg.
Add remaining flour; beat well.
