Yummy Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium potatoes or 2 lb. frozen hash browns
    1 pt. dairy sour cream
    1 can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1/3 c. crushed cornflakes
    2 or 3 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Remove skins from cooked potatoes.
    Shred into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Saute onion in melted butter until tender.
    Remove from heat. Stir in soup and sour cream.
    Pour over potatoes and cheese; mix well.
    Combine crushed cornflakes with melted butter; sprinkle over potatoes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
