Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
    1/2 c. Pet milk
    3/4 c. butter
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Mix the cake according to directions on box.
    Pour half of the batter into a greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
    Bake 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
