Oatmeal-Peanut Butter-Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1 (18 oz.) jar chunky peanut butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    4 large eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 c. quick cooking oats (uncooked)
    2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. (6 oz.) chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
Preparation
    Beat butter and peanut butter at medium speed until fluffy. Gradually add sugar and brown sugar, beating well.
    Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
    Combine oats and baking soda; add to butter mixture, mixing well.
    Stir in chips.
    Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 9 to 10 minutes.
    Cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes.
    Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
    Yields 7 dozen.
