Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) jar sauerkraut (Steinfelt)
    1 small jar diced pimentos
    1 Tbsp. onion flakes
    1 1/2 c. finely chopped celery
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Boil together the sugar and vinegar.
    Pour this mixture over the other ingredients.
    Let stand 12 hours in refrigerator.
    Pour off excess juice before serving.
