Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
2 large eggs
5 Tbsp. milk
3 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Put Crisco and sugar into mixer and beat.
Add eggs and milk and beat again.
Add remaining ingredients to form a soft ball of dough. Put dough into refrigerator or freezer until very stiff. Roll cookie dough and cut.
Place on cookie sheet and top with sugar.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until light brown.
