Candy Popcorn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. popcorn, popped
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. light Karo syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    nuts
Preparation
    Pop the popcorn. Cook over medium heat the sugar, margarine, syrup and salt.
    Stir constantly until boiling.
    Continue cooking without stirring for 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat and add vanilla and baking soda.
    Put popcorn in two 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pans. Pour half the cooked mixture over popcorn in each pan.
    Stir well.
    Bake at 225\u00b0 for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
    Let cool.
