Hearty Turkey Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil or safflower
    2 lb. ground turkey
    2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans tomatoes, cut up (I prefer Pastene)
    1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. lemon powder
    1 tsp. thyme
    1/8 to 1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
    2 (15 1/3 oz.) cans kidney beans
Preparation
    Saute onions, green pepper and garlic in oil.
    Add turkey and cook until brown.
    Add everything but the beans.
    Cook 45 minutes, covered (simmer), then add beans and simmer about 15 minutes.
