Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    3/4 c. margarine, melted
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 bag caramels
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
    1/3 c. evaporated milk
Preparation
    Mix cake mix with melted margarine.
    Add 1/2 cup evaporated milk and mix well.
    Spread 1/2 batter in greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake 5 to 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Let cool.
    Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
    Spread over baked batter. Sprinkle nuts and chocolate chips over caramel.
    Drop remaining batter by spoonfuls over chips and nuts.
    Bake for 18 to 20 minutes.
