Oven Barbecued Steaks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. beef round steak, 3/4-inch thick
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    3 Tbsp. instant chopped onion
    3/4 c. catsup
    3/4 c. water
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cut meat into 10 serving pieces.
    In skillet, brown meat in oil; remove meat to Dutch oven.
    Add remaining ingredients to skillet; simmer 5 minutes.
    Pour catsup mixture over meat.
    Cover and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 2 hours or until meat is tender.
    Stir sauce and turn pieces after first hour.
    Makes 10 servings.
