Hot Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. hot sausage
1 can cream-style corn
1 onion, chopped
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. grated cheese
1 c. cornmeal
1 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Combine cornmeal, flour, baking power, eggs, buttermilk and sugar to make batter.
Mix well.
Brown sausage with onion and drain.
Pour 1/2 of batter into a hot, greased, 10-inch iron skillet.
Pour cream-style corn on top of batter.
Add sausage on top of corn.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Cover with remaining batter. Bake until golden brown at 425\u00b0.
Good during cool weather!
