Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. popped corn
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. butter or butter blend
    1/4 c. light corn syrup (Karo)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Pop corn and place in large brown paper bag; set aside.
    May add 2 cups of peanuts.
    Combine sugar, butter, Karo and salt in 2-quart glass bowl.
    Mix well and microwave on High setting for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring after each minute, until it begins to boil. Cook 2 minutes more.
    Stir in soda and mix well (will foam). Quickly pour in paper bag over the corn.
    Shake well and cook another 1 1/2 minutes.
    Shake thoroughly and empty in a large pan to cool.
