Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 German chocolate cake mix
    1 stick margarine
    1 (6 oz.) bag chocolate chips
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. Kraft caramels
    1/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. chopped walnuts or cashews
Preparation
    Prepare cake according to box directions.
    Pour 1/2 batter into greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Melt caramels with margarine and milk; spread over hot cake.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips, then nuts.
    Pour remaining batter on top.
    Bake for 10 to 15 minutes longer at 350\u00b0.
