Apple Jacks - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can Pillsbury biscuits
1 pkg. dried apples
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
dash of nutmeg
Preparation

Put apples in pot with about 3 inches of water.
Cook on low heat until tender.
Remove apples from heat and add sugar and spices.
Do not drain.
Let cool.
Let biscuits come to room temperature.
Sprinkle flour on wax paper.
Roll biscuit until size of hand.
Cover one side of dough with apples, fold and pinch edges together.
Do this for each biscuit.
Fry in margarine until brown on both sides.
Add margarine as needed, cook slow.
