Good, Easy Red Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. smoked sausage or ground beef
    1 c. long grain rice (uncooked)
    2 c. tomato juice
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    2 medium onions, chopped
    4 Tbsp. bacon drippings or margarine
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown meat slightly in oleo or bacon drippings. Combine all other ingredients and mix well. Add meat and bacon drippings. Bake, covered, in a baking dish at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
