Snickerdoole Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Blend ingredients together until smooth.
    Chill dough for at least 2 hours.
    Roll into small balls.
    Roll balls into mixture of 3 tablespoons sugar and 3 tablespoons cinnamon.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 on ungreased cookie sheet for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Makes 2 dozen.
