Lucille Harper'S Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. pitted dates
    1 lb. candied pineapple
    1 lb. whole candied cherries
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    2 lb. pecan halves (8 c.)
    white corn syrup
Preparation
    Grease pans with butter or margarine.
    Line with brown paper and grease paper.
    Preheat oven to 275\u00b0.
