Beef-N-Tortilla Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. ground cumin
salt and pepper to taste
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
8 corn tortillas
6 slices Velveeta cheese
Preparation

Brown beef in a heavy skillet.
Add onions, green peppers and seasonings; saute about 5 minutes.
Add tomato sauce and soups. Cook an additional 5 minutes over low heat.
Line bottom of buttered 9 x 11-inch glass baking dish with 4 tortillas, torn in half.
Cover with 1/2 of meat mixture.
Cover with remaining tortillas, torn in half and cover with the other half of meat mixture.
Cover all with cheese slices.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Serves 4 or 5.
