Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. round beef, cut into strips
    flour
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms
    1 medium chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. tomato paste
    1/4 c. beef stock or 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef broth
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Coat beef with flour.
    Heat skillet; add 2 tablespoons butter. Add meat and brown.
    Add mushrooms, onion and garlic.
    Cook for 3 or 4 minutes or until onion is crisp and tender.
    Remove meat, mushrooms and onion.
    Add 2 tablespoons butter to skillet; blend in 3 tablespoons flour and tomato paste.
    Slowly stir in beef stock or broth.
    Cook and stir over medium heat until thick. Return meat; stir and cook until meat is tender.
    Just before you serve, add sour cream.
    Cook slowly until heated.
    Do not boil! Serve over noodles.
