Carrot Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    1 1/3 c. water
    1 c. raisins
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. grated carrots
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Simmer first 9 ingredients together for 5 minutes.
    Cool.
    Add flour and nuts.
    Bake in greased and floured 9 x 5-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
