Ingredients

1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c granulated sugar
1 c butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 c sifted flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 c chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream sugars and butter.
Blend in egg and vanilla, adding flour, soda and salt.
Add chopped pecans.
Chill and shape into balls the size of a quarter.
Place on ungreased baking sheet. Press with the bottom of a glass to flatten.
Bake 10-12
minutes at 350 degrees.
Makes approximately 4 dozen.
