Fresh Fruit Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. cold water
    3/4 c. peaches or berries
    1 c. sugar
    3 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    cooked pie shell
    4 c. fresh peaches or berries
Preparation
    Mash 3/4 cup fruit; combine with water.
    Bring to boil and cook over medium heat 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Combine sugar and cornstarch; add to fruit, stirring.
    Cook until full boil is reached and is clear in color, stirring constantly.
    Cool completely and pour over berries in pie shell.
