Ingredients

1 medium head cabbage, chopped or shredded
1 large carrot
1 green pepper, chopped
1 c. white vinegar
1/4 c. water
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation

Sprinkle 1 teaspoon salt over mixture and let stand 1 hour. Squeeze out liquid by hand.
Bring vinegar and rest of ingredients to boil for 1 minute.
Pour cooled mixture over cabbage mixture; mix well and put in meal size containers.
Freezes very well.
