Ingredients

1 1/2 c. Crisco
2 1/2 c. sugar
5 large eggs
1 c. sweet milk
1 Tbsp. sweet milk
1 Tbsp. coconut flavoring
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
3 c. sifted flour
1 (4 oz.) can Angel Flake coconut
Preparation

Cream Crisco and sugar for 10 minutes on high speed. Add eggs (one at a time), then mix alternately with flour which has been sifted with salt and baking powder. (If self-rising flour is used, omit salt and baking powder.) Fold in coconut. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 25 minutes (do not preheat oven) in a tube pan. Keep in oven until cooled. Cover to keep moist.
