Easy Croissants - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 3/4 c. milk
    1 egg
    2 pkg. yeast (2 Tbsp.)
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. oleo
    1 c. (1/2 lb.) oleo, cut up
Preparation
    Note:
    One egg and 1 tablespoon water, mixed and brushed on top before baking is optional.
