Ingredients

4 c. self-rising flour
2 c. sugar
2 or 3 eggs
1/2 c. sweet milk
2/3 stick margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 qt. cooked apples
1 tsp. cinnamon
pinch of allspice
Preparation

Cream the sugar and margarine; add eggs one at a time.
Beat well.
Add milk.
Add 4 cups of flour and mix well.
Make a stiff dough; add more flour to make it stiff enough to handle.
Take a ball of dough about the size of your fist and pat it out in an 8 or 9-inch pan.
Bake in 400\u00b0 oven until brown.
