Peas And Pasta(Piselli E Pasta) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. slab bacon rind, cubed
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1 (16 oz.) can baby peas, undrained
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 lb. small pasta shells
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, saute
    bacon and onion until tender but not brown.
    Add peas, salt
    and
    pepper.
    Cook on low heat for 15 minutes.
    Pour
    over
    pasta shells, cooked according to package directions.
    Makes 4 servings.
