Wine Jelly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. gelatin
    1/4 c. cold water
    1 c. boiling water
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. strained lemon juice
    1 c. good sherry
    1/8 tsp. salt
    whipping cream
    toasted almonds or coconut (optional)
Preparation
    Soften gelatin in cold water.
    Add boiling water to dissolve. Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
    Add salt, lemon juice and sherry.
    Pour into individual sherbet glasses.
    When set, garnish with whipped cream.
    Sprinkle with toasted almonds or toasted coconut, if desired.
    Makes 6 servings.
