Ingredients

2 lb. container of mixed candied fruit
1 lb. Sunmaid baking raisins
1 C. flour
2 C. brown sugar
1/2 C. margarine
4 eggs
3 Tbsp. buttermilk
1/2 C. orange juice
2 Tbsp. vanilla
2 C. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 lb. pecans, whole or broken in large pieces
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice
2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Dust fruit and raisins with 1 cup flour.
Cream brown sugar and margarine.
Beat in 4 eggs.
Add buttermilk, orange juice and vanilla.
Mix well.
Add 2 cups flour, soda, spices, and salt.
Mix well.
Add fruit, raisins and nuts.
Drop spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 14 minutes.
Makes 5 dozen.
