Fruit Cake Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. diced candied fruit
2 1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. apple juice
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
candied cherries
apple jelly
Preparation

Marinate fruits and raisins in juice overnight.
Cream sugar, butter and egg together.
Sift together flour and spices and mix with sugar mixture.
Add marinated fruit and nuts.
Spoon into muffin papers.
Top each with a cherry.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Brush tops with apple juice while warm.
Add glaze. Melt apple jelly for glaze.
