Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. red beans
4 Tbsp. bacon grease
bacon
1 large regular onion
1 large bell pepper
3 cloves garlic
2 green onions
Creole seasoning, salt, pepper and 2 bay leaves
Tabasco sauce (optional)
1 lb. beef smoked sausage
1 lb. ham (ham steak)
Preparation
-
Cook the first 9 ingredients for 2 hours and then add the beef smoked sausage and ham.
Add water as needed.
Cook for a few more hours.
Mash beans to thicken.
Serve over rice.
