Mandarin Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. sliced almonds
1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. sugar
1/4 head lettuce
1/4 head romaine
1 c. chopped celery
2 green onions with tops, thinly sliced
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. salad oil
dash of red pepper sauce
1 Tbsp. snipped parsley
11 oz. can mandarin oranges, drained
Preparation

Toast almonds and sugar over low heat until sugar is melted and almonds are coated.
Tear lettuce and romaine into bite size pieces.
Place greens in plastic bag; add celery and onions. Fasten bag securely and refrigerate.
