Mom'S Yeast Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. hot water
    1 tsp. sugar
    2 1/2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. hot scalded milk
    1 c. cold water
    6 to 7 c. sifted all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Mix yeast, hot water and 1 teaspoon sugar in bowl;
    let rise. Pour
    milk on top of butter in mixing bowl until butter melts. Then
    pour\t1
    cup\tcold
    water on butter mixture. Add sugar and salt.
    Mix\twell.
    Add
    flour
    until soupy, about 2 cups flour. Then
    add
    yeast
    and
    mix well.
    Add flour until dough won't take
    any
    more
    flour.
    Knead;
    let rise in warm place
    until doubled.
    Punch
    down;
    knead.
    Divide
    into
    2 loaves.
    Place in bread pans and let rise again.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour.
