Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs, beaten
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 2/3 c. scalded milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Beat eggs; add sugar, salt, nutmeg and vanilla.
Slowly add scalded milk.
Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes; then reduce heat to 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
