New England Clam Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 cans minced clams
4 slices bacon
1 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. white pepper
3 c. raw, peeled, diced potatoes
2 c. light cream
2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. butter
paprika
potato flakes
Preparation

Strain clams and reserve liquid.
(If less than 4 cups, add needed amount of water to equal 4 cups.)
Fry bacon; reserve 1/4 cup bacon fat.
Set aside crispy bacon.
Saute onions in reserved bacon fat for 5 minutes.
