Pie Crust No. 3 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. shortening
    5 to 7 Tbsp. ice water
Preparation
    Sift flour and salt together; cut in shortening until pieces are size of small peas.
    Sprinkle 1 tablespoon water over part of mixture.
    Gently toss with fork; push to side of bowl.
    Repeat until all is moistened.
    Form into 2 balls.
    Flatten on lightly floured surface by pressing with hand 3 times across in both directions.
    Roll from center to edge until 1/8-inch thick.
    Makes one 8, 9 or 10-inch double crust pie.
