Kass'S Strawberry Shortcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3 to 5 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. grated lemon rind
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1/3 c. milk

Preparation

Mix dry ingredients with lemon rind.
Cut in shortening. (At this point, you may refrigerate for finishing at later time if desired.)
