Sand Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream butter and sugar together.
    Mix flour, salt and baking powder in a separate bowl.
    Mix eggs and vanilla in with sugar and butter.
    Gradually mix in dry ingredients with an electric mixer.
    Chill until firm.
    Roll and use your favorite cookie cutters.
    Cover cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
    Brush cookies with egg white.
    Decorate.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
    Great for the holidays!
