Easy Drop Dumplings For Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vegetable shortening
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift flour with baking powder and salt.
    Cut in shortening until mixture is of cornmeal consistency.
    Add milk.
    Mix lightly until soft dough is formed.
    Drop from teaspoon into boiling stew. Cover tightly.
    Cook without removing cover for 12 minutes.
