Red Velvet Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/4 c. plain flour
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 sticks butter
    6 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. lemon flavor
    1 tsp. vanilla flavor
    2 (1 oz.) bottles red food coloring
    1 Tbsp. cocoa
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Grease and flour tube pan.
    Cream sugar, butter and shortening together until fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time and mix well after each.\tSift together flour, salt and baking powder.
    Add to creamed mixture and mix well.
    Combine milk, food coloring, lemon and vanilla flavoring and cocoa together; add to batter.
    Beat at high speed until mixed well. Pour batter into greased and floured tube pan.
    Fill to 2/3 full. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes until done.\tFrost with Cream Cheese Icing.
