Shirley'S Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 whole chicken
1 can cream of celery soup
1 stick butter
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas and carrots, thawed
1 1/2 c. Bisquick
1 1/2 c. whole milk
Preparation

In a large pot, cover chicken with water; if desired, add onion, carrots, celery and bay leaf for more flavor.
Boil until tender.
Skin chicken; discard skin.
Pick meat from bones and place in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Spread vegetables over chicken.
Heat soup, butter and broth together and pour over chicken.
Mix Bisquick and milk together.
Pour over chicken and vegetables.
Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 40 to 60 minutes or until top is brown.
Serves 6 to 8.
