Scampi - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh shrimp
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 Tbsp. butter (optional)
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    Parmesan cheese
    cooked pasta for 4 servings
Preparation
    Rinse shrimp; remove shells, leaving tails, if desired.
    Heat oil and butter in large skillet.
    Add garlic; cook slowly until golden.
    Add shrimp.
    Sprinkle with parsley, oregano, salt and pepper.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring, for 3 or 4 minutes, until shrimp are pink.
    Sprinkle with lemon juice; stir until hot.
    Serve over pasta; sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
    Pass cheese when serving.
    Serve with a green salad and good, crusty bread.
    Good, fast company meal.
