Chocolate Snowballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chocolate bits
    1 c. chopped nuts
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Cream the margarine with vanilla until soft. Add sugar gradually and blend well. Add eggs, flour and salt. Stir in chocolate bits and nuts. Mix thoroughly.
    Shape into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool slightly, then roll in confectioners sugar.
    Yields 6 dozen.
