Ann'S Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box Duncan Hines cake mix (yellow)
2 (4 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1 large can cherry pie filling
1 (14 oz.) bag coconut
1 large can fruit cocktail, drained
1 large can crushed pineapple
2 (8 oz.) containers Cool Whip
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Prepare pudding according to package directions and place in refrigerator to firm.
Make 2 layers from box cake.
Take one layer and break into pieces, into large punch bowl.
Place 1/2 of the following ingredients on top of cake in order: instant pudding, cherry pie filling, fruit cocktail, pineapple, nuts, coconut and Cool Whip.
Now add second layer in the same order using the remaining ingredients.
Refrigerate.
Will keep several days in refrigerator.
Serves 20 to 25.
