Fried Cabbage With Tomatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium head cabbage
1 large onion, sliced and separated into rings
1/4 c. red wine
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. oregano
1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
salt to taste
crushed red pepper to taste (optional)
2 c. crushed tomatoes
1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Cut cabbage into 1 1/2 to 2-inch chunks.
In a large, nonstick skillet, stir-fry cabbage and onion with wine for about 10 minutes or until cabbage becomes limp.
Season with garlic powder, oregano, parsley, salt and red pepper.
Combine tomatoes and sugar; add to cabbage, mixing thoroughly.
Cover and simmer until cabbage is tender (about 30 minutes).
Stir occasionally and, if necessary, add a little water to prevent sticking.
